Introduction

This arresting black-and-white image captures an instant heavily saturated with extreme psychological, erotic, and physical tension: a woman's bare leg, sharply accentuated and altered by the fetishistic elegance of an architectural stiletto high heel, is poised threateningly above a tiny, vulnerable lizard, which sits nearly camouflaged on a rough, distressed concrete floor.
