Introduction
Belonging to the critically acclaimed "Adrift" series by photographer Magda Biernat, the image captures the ephemeral majesty and intrinsic vulnerability of the Earth's cryosphere. Through an approach that merges the geometric rigor of architectural photography with the lyricism of the romantic landscape, Biernat transforms the block of ice into a decaying architectural sculpture.
